About

I started to embroider at a young age, taught by my grandmother. I put that aside for several years and experimented with painting, drawing and porcelain painting.

Even though I didn't pursue a career in the artistic field, I continued to create all these years.

I first turned to traditional embroidery to learn the basics and little by little I found my style.

I like to combine different techniques: watercolor fabric, needle weaving, needle painting, stump work.

My favorite subjects are those of Portuguese culture and traditions with a touch of modernity, I love architectural embroidery.

My latest passion is to recuperate broken ceramic and porcelain pieces with embroidery, some kind of embroidered kintsugi.
